"Keeper of the Flame" is the ending theme of "The Order of the Sparrow", the twelfth and final episode of the first season of Camp Camp. It plays during the season's final credit sequence and is the longest ending theme to have played at the end of an episode.

Lyrics[]

Somebody got to keep the fire burnin'.
Upgraded while these haters stuck in prior versions.
Outpacin' all the highest earners.
Get the paper every time he hit the stage like it's higher learnin'.

And now they thinkin' that he's lame, but
That's what happens when you keepin' up the flame.
Trendin' topics got 'em weak enough to change
into anything that's poppin' while they see you just the same.

Came out of my shell like one of Koopa's minions.
I'm just trying to excel and get that new position.
I'm superstitious, never drive unless the roof is missin'.
Old school, but I'm still payin' new tuition.

They said I'm dedicated to a lost cause.
Instead of chasing, I should've taken a long pause.
I see you waitin', but I'm never fallin' off–
Gotta keep the trail blazin' like a molotov.

Richie.

How he get the flame to light like that?
He's so lame, why he actin' all nice like that?
He's such a geek, why he talkin' all white like that?
He ain't even from the streets, how he write like that?

Hold up–
Dicks out for Harambe.
Got to pour a little sip out of the Bombay.
That's for every life that was takin' the wrong way.
We just trying to get by, but we pray for you all day. (Monty)[note 1]

I'm trying to get high, lightin' up that blue bic.
Two hits will float 'em, like they ridin' on a cruise ship.
I've been on my grind, they excited for my new shit.
And if they try denyin' it, they lyin' like they Lucius.

It's tough to keep the flame alive when you middle-aged,
Bills got you workin' overtime just to get 'em paid.
Used to feel great gettin' limit breaks–
Now I got a job that I hate, 'cause they limit breaks.

Somebody said I'm too traditional,
Because I value vinyl records over digital.
I never do what other's do, individual,
Showin' true colors every time I'm in your visual.

How he get the flame to light like that?
He's so lame, why he actin' all nice like that?
He's such a geek, why he talkin' all white like that?
He ain't even from the streets, how he write like that?
